The Youth Over Violence Summer Training is a leadership development program for high school youth. Select youth attend training conferences and courses where they are taught how to create and organize violence prevention programs/activities on their campuses. Youth Over Violence Training works in diverse areas. Past courses include advocacy for anti-violence legislation and school policy, creating public service announcements, community organizing, designing social marketing campaigns, digital media, music, and organizing youth conferences.   All courses are designed to educate young people about healthy, violence-free lifestyles.   Students in the Digital Media course created a blog post using original photography and research.
